Merry Christmas Everyone!
Merry Christmas to you all! I would just like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and have a super New Year! Thank you to all the people who take the time to read my ramblings and irrelevant posts, it means so so much to me. The photo above is of my Nan, Mum, me and Amelie on her first Christmas – 4 generations (I think??), I’m so blessed to have my grandparents and Mum here to share my children’s special memories. I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow, I’ll see you in 2017! Nxxxxx

Paultons Park, Peppa Pig World at Christmas 2016
We had planned to visit Paultons Park at Christmas for ages as both children loved visiting last year when Charlie was 1. Although we had been to Peppa Pig World before, this was in April and it looked amazing on the website to visit during the festive period. We usually visit Otter Nurseries as the whole experience there is so magical for young children. We only really visit one Father Christmas during December as not to confuse the children, Amelie is already asking if the “real” Father Christmas sits in a grotto speaking to children. I’ve told her it is his helper as he is so busy getting ready for Christmas Eve…

Slow Cooker Roast Chicken
I love a roast chicken, proper chicken. It reminds me of being little, my mum would roast a chicken every Sunday and use it for dinner and packed lunches during the week. We would have chicken and salad cream sandwiches – yummy! Amelie loves proper chicken, the problem for me is I hate cooking it. It spits fat all in my clean (cough cough, dirty) oven and I hate touching it and picking it apart. I used to use my slow cooker all the time but not very successfully, I would make stews, casseroles, curries and chilli but it would always turn out a watery disgusting mess. So I put…

Giving Blood During the Festive Period
I took Amelie with me tonight when I went to donate blood. She had been badgering me to take her ever since I last gave blood back in August. I used to donate pre children but hadn’t been able to after the two C-sections I had. To be honest as it had been years I had forgotten about giving blood until I found my old donor card in my purse. I logged onto the website to see if my login details were still valid, obviously I had forgotten my password so had to request that and update my details once I was logged in. I was scrolling through the pages and…

What a faff!
Oh my goodness, what can I say! The last few days have been the most stressful I’ve had in forever, transitioning to self hosted has been a complete pain in the arse. I think (hopefully) I’m there now, with a few tweaks here and there and getting to grips with Plugins etc as I have no idea what the heck I’m doing I’m on my way on the self hosted journey. I had no intention of posting anything tonight but I need to vent as I’ve had the worst day and I hate it when my mood creeps into family life. I’ve been a cow all day, I’m a moany,…

Self Hosted….
As the title suggests I am going to be going self hosted as of this week (fingers crossed) so I will be MIA for a little bit. You can still keep up to date on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter whilst I am moving – exciting times ahead! Nxx

Elf on The Shelf Update
When our elf arrived I was super excited (and still am) to share his antics with you all, but I know how annoying it is when you see your whole social media feed flooded with photos of the imp in red. I get fed up with it as well so I have rounded up our week with a few photos of what cheeky things he has been up to and put them on here instead. The children are currently on the naughty list, ha ha. I can’t wait until Friday when Amelie breaks up from school as everyone needs a rest and to get better, we have all been poorly since…

Our Week in Pictures
I thought I would share some photos of our week, it has been a busy but fun week with play dates, Christmas performances (I’m not allowed to share any pics unfortunately), school runs, pampering and lots of festive cheer. I hope you’ve all had a good week, I can’t believe it is only two weeks until Christmas…eeeeeeeek!

Blogmas Day 11 – Taking a Step Back
It is with a sad face that I am writing this post, I’m going to reduce my Blogmas posts to 3 times a week until Christmas. I had every intention of continuing with every day blogging as I have loved putting up Christmassy posts, however we are all still under the weather in our household and have been since November. I cannot shake the feeling of an earache and sore throat off, I’m exhausted and with this time of year being so busy I need to take a step back. I have lots of lovely posts coming up so please stay tuned for those. Next week is a busy week with hospital…
