Fingerlings Light Up Narwhal Rachel – Review

Let me introduce Rachel the gorgeous new Fingerlings Narwhal. Rachel is one of the newest additions to the Fingerlings family she is a unicorn of the sea and is utterly adorable. All of the Narwhal unicorn Fingerlings have a special horn that lights up and changes colour when you interact with them. The cute little creatures are a perfect fit for your little one’s fingers, they will be mesmerised for hours petting and cooing over them. We were very kindly sent this particular Fingerlings Narwhal to review and what better location to review a unicorn of the sea than in Spain! I packed this treat for Amelie in my hand…

    How Anxiety Affects Me

If you follow me on Instagram you will know that I am going through a bout of anxiety. I just thought I would document exactly how anxiety affects me and my daily life when I’m having an ‘episode’. Anxiety affects people in different ways and each time I have it, it is a different experience. I find it really tricky talking to people who have never suffered from any form of it as nine times out of ten they just don’t get it. But, if you do suffer you will know how utterly consuming it can be. So, I’ve been fine (mentally) for a good while, I was in a…

Easter Blues, Anxiety, Life Lately & The End of Blogging

Hands up who has the Easter blues? We have been treated to the BEST Easter holiday ever. We started ours flying off to Benidorm for the week, it didn’t go as we thought as I became very poorly resulting in a visit to a Spanish hospital. Despite the illness we had such a fantastic family holiday, the children were great, we did lots of exploring, sun bathing and celebrated Charlie’s 5th birthday in the sunshine. I can’t believe he’s 5 – waaaah!! We returned home to England being absolutely freezing, the heating went on as did the fluffy socks and chunky jumpers. It’s lovely going abroad but I do like…

    #60forspring Challenge with Samuel Windsor

Spring has arrived and so has the rain, which we will choose to ignore for the moment. Luckily we are escaping from the British weather for a week (I’m keeping everything crossed for a bit of sunshine) to a Spanish beach. Now is the time where we go through our existing “holiday” wardrobe, dig out what still fits and banish any items we’ve had for years. Or so you would think. Mr K keeps hold of his clothes for years, he is comfortable in them and knows what feels right. We were contacted by leading Menswear brand Samuel Windsor to take part in an exciting #60forspring challenge. This really got…

Playmobil – Spirit Riding Free New Range Review

We have just returned home from one of the most exciting weekends ever. We attended the big launch of Playmobil’s Spirit Riding Free Range and what a magical time we had, staying at Loose Reins, an authentic luxury glamping ranch in the stunning Dorset countryside. I have so much to tell you but know what it’s like when bloggers ramble on for days, so I’m going to split our weekend up into two separate blog posts. I don’t want to miss anything out especially our stay at Loose Reins – I’ve been inundated with lovely comments and questions about our accommodation. Playmobil I’m sure every parent and their dog is…

    Lactose & Dairy Free Foods

Being lactose intolerant has been a bit of a blow for me to be honest. I’ve always had a sensitive tummy and there was talk of IBS years ago, things got better and my diet changed dramatically. However, over the past 4 months I’ve been suffering with very bad bouts of tummy aches, sickness, bloating and upset. I’m still very much on my journey with finding foods that do not contain lactose, I have managed to seek out some favourites and thought I would share them with you. CANDY KITTENS (Vegan) I found these little treats in Waitrose. I do have a sweet tooth and sometimes just fancy a jelly…
