What I Ate Today #coeliac #glutenfree

I love producing what I ate today posts. I cannot tell you how many times I have gone back to these posts for meal ideas and just to see what I was scoffing. As I mentioned in previous posts, this is not real time, this post was from June when I was taking a break from blogging.

Here is what I ate on Monday 15th June 2020.

Breakfast – 7.00am

Nothing unusual here – a bowl of scrumptious gluten free porridge, mixed up with my favourite probiotic Biomel. I recently tried a new peanut butter and absolutely love it. The Meridian Smooth Peanut Butter is delicious, it is a little runny which I am really enjoying. I added a few strawberries (my favourite fruit) to the bowl – yummy!!

Snack Time – 10.30am

I never used to snack, actually I never used to eat breakfast, would have a small salad for lunch then stuff my face at the end of the day – bad habits! Since the children came along my eating habits have changed so much (for the better) I now eat a sensible breakfast and always have a snack as I would get very hangry if I didn’t. I think it stems from the breastfeeding days of being ravenous and having the life literally sucked out of me.

Anyways, my morning snack after my kettlebell workout was of course a Nakd Bar, I don’t go a day without one of these and I love the peanut ones. They taste really substantial and not too sweet.

Lunch Time – 1.30pm

Since Charlie started back at school – which starts at 9.30am – my morning routine has been pushed back which I am kind of liking. So lunch was later than usual, today I had an egg scramble with mushrooms and Violife cheese. I have to be careful with eggs though as they really irritate my tummy but this was so yummy and filled me up. I also had an Alpro soya yoghurt, I find these yoghurts are super filling .

Dinner Time – 5.00pm

I eat dinner quite early as I get so hungry by 4pm. Today was mini turkey breasts with green beans, it looks like a very small portion but it really does keep me full. I don’t eat after dinner so usually go around 14 hours without food. It works for me and my ever complicated digestive system!

I also had a load of water and 3 cups of tea.
