Half Term Adventures in Devon

Half term has been and gone and whilst I’m sad it is over so quickly I’m also glad to have a wee bit of routine back in our lives. I was getting far too used to lazy mornings and days out, but it will soon be the Easter holidays before we know it.

Our week was full of snow flurries, visits to Exmouth beach where Charlie fell in the biggest puddle on the sand face first and proceeded to scream, we celebrated Valentine’s Day, I took the children to World of Country Life (I’m doing a whole blog post on this), we caught up with friends and we had a couple of down days at home. The children absolutely loved getting all the crafts, paints, pens and sellotape out this half term and really enjoyed playing together.

On Saturday we took a trip to Lyme Regis as the weather was beautiful, it really felt like spring had arrived. We had a great time stomping along the beach and shared some proper chippy chips whilst dodging the swooping seagulls.

Here are a few photos of our week, I hope you all had a lovely half term.
