Hobby Craft Felt Christmas Tree – Blogmas Day 5

We get our Christmas on during the first weekend of December every year. It may seem early to some but I’m usually fed up of the decorations by Boxing Day and I’ve taken them down and blitzed the house ready to see in the New Year. The children don’t have a tree of their own yet so I bought the Hobby Craft Felt Christmas Tree for them to decorate and play with.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, I thought the tree might be a bit flimsy and thin and the decorations would be a bit naff if I’m honest. But, it was only £6 so thought I would order it anyway. When I got it out of the packaging to put it up I was really surprised and impressed at how durable and thick the material was, the decorations were super as well. They were a really good size and had a velcro strip along the back to make it easy for little hands to unstick. Both Amelie and Charlie could not wait to get started with decorating and have been playing with it throughout the day. I can already see it is going to get lots of use out of and is a complete bargain. I’m so pleased I bought it as I think it would be good to pull out each year and maybe add your own homemade felt decs.

We always put our tree up on the 1st of December. That’s a really cute tree, I bet it would be easy to make one too
