Children’s Christmas Stocking Fillers Gift Guide 2018

Receiving a stocking from Santa was the best part of Christmas for me when I was small. As an adult I still get that real excitement when putting together presents for my children’s stockings. I have found some lovely gifts this year that I will be adding to their stocking, here is what is on offer.

Cry Babies Magic Tears

We were kindly sent Cry Babies Magic Tears during the summer and I wanted to include them in my stocking fillers guide because they are a great addition. Their cute little houses are the perfect size for a good quality gift but are certainly within budget.

If your little one is a fan of unwrapping toys and popping open secret compartments then I have no doubt they will love this delight. Behind each door is a surprise to find, there’s even a glittery accessory to be found. The dolls themselves are a really good size, compared to some fashion/play dolls out there at the moment. Our Cry Babies have been everywhere, from the bath to the muddy garden but are still in fab condition they are robust which is great for heavy hands and the accessories have worn well.

Hallmark – Itty Bittys

These cute and cuddly Hallmark Itty Bittys are perfect for tiny hands to hold. From Disney, Marvel, Super Hero Girls, Star Wars, Flintstones, DC Comics and so many more to choose from there is something for every collection. My children love collecting Itty Bittys and this year they both have a character from Moana – we love that movie. They fit neatly within their stocking and encourage imaginative play, I’m sure we will be finding Moana in Amelie’s dolls house and Maui in the back of Charlie’s fire engine as they both love role play and making up games together.

Kit & Kin

If you are searching for gifts for younger members of family/friends, look no further than this absolutely gorgeous award-winning eco friendly range, co-founded by non other than Emma Bunton. These stunning products aren’t just for babies, I have been using this skincare range on my children for the last couple of months, they are 6 and 4. All products are dermatologist approved, hypoallergenic and certified by the COSMOS association.

Kit & Kin offer an extensive range of gift bundle ideas for the whole family, I particularly like the body oil and magic salve. They smell amazing and leave the children’s skin super soft after a bath. I have even used these on myself and my skin felt so lovely afterwards, the scent is relaxing and not overpowering. These products would make a wonderful gift to add to your little one’s stocking especially as it is quite difficult to buy presents for babies, you never know what to buy as they are so young.

Real Santa Letters – Personalised Santa Letter & Certificate

I realise this is not a typical stocking filler however, if you are planning on putting together a Christmas Eve box or even just putting this out for your children on Christmas morning it is such a lovely gift idea. My children have received quite a few letters from Father Christmas over the years but I have to say, the one they have received from Real Santa Letters is the best so far.

Each letter is fully personalised for your child, you can include their name, age, any message of your choice, mentions of their achievements either at school or home, you can literally add anything that means something to them – how magical! As well as an authentic letter from the big man himself you also get a ‘Good Child’ certificate, these festive gifts are posted direct from the North Pole and arrive in special envelopes to really keep the magic alive.

Bubblegum Balloons – Personalised Christmas Bauble

I absolutely love this gift idea from Bubblegum Balloons, it really is such a special present that you will keep for years. Each bauble contains a white feather, the name of your choice and gorgeous ribbon for hanging. There are lots of personalised baubles to choose from, heart ones, round ones, ones with glitter inside and even ones for your pets. They come gift wrapped in a beautiful box nestled in tissue paper for that extra touch. They are £10 each which is perfect for a stocking stuffer. This would be a lovely gift idea for a baby’s first Christmas to keep in their memory box and bring out each year.

That concludes this year’s gift guides, I have tried to keep them simple and only include items I would want my children to receive and that we generally love.

Happy shopping!!
