Funky Pigeon Easter Treats & Activities 2019

Easter has arrived and I bet your children are super excited to receive all the goods from the Easter bunny – I know mine are. But, if you are seeking a chocolate alternative or an activity to keep the littles busy this Easter weekend, then look no further. Funky Pigeon have a fantastic selection of popular gifts and games to please everyone. If you didn’t know already, Funky Pigeon have a brilliant Blog section on their website full of gift ideas and features.

This Easter we were lucky enough to be sent a few things from the Easter 2019 range, and I was quite pleasantly surprised to find top brands that were not personalised (something I associate with Funky Pigeon). We chose a game to entertain everyone on Easter Sunday – Hatchimals CollEGGtibles.

This game has already been played by my 7 and 5 year old. It is a great little game that is easy to set up and is a very simple concept to follow. In the box you get 3 gorgeous little Hatchimal characters and a mystery egg which the kiddies will love to hatch. The game is aimed at children aged 5 and over and is for 2 – 4 players, I would say this is quite accurate. Charlie has only just turned 5 and picked this up pretty quickly. The aim of the game is to navigate your way around the board with your little Hatchimal, landing on special spaces, the first player to match their character cards with the egg tokens on the board wins. It is a really fun way to gather everyone together and gets their brains ticking as it is a memory game.

We were also sent two personalised note pads. These are going to be the perfect Easter present as my children are obsessed with notebooks, drawing, practising their writing and doodling. I absolutely love these little books, you can personalise them with photos of your child and their name or any other message you want. They are the perfect size for little hands and will fit snugly into their Easter basket.

I really do like the Funky Pigeon website and am so pleased to have found the Blog section. There are so many lovely gift ideas from the Peter Rabbit story and cuddly toy to delicious sweets from your childhood. If you haven’t already, go and check out what is on offer especially if you are looking for that last minute Easter treat.
