Sweet potato fries/wedges/chips, whatever you call them are an absolute favourite of mine. They are so easy to make and taste delicious, today I’m sharing how I make them at home.
As you can see there are minimal ingredients to making sweet potato fries. I like to use the Fry Light Coconut oil spray, some seasoning and, depending on the size of the sweet potato either one big one or two smaller ones.
Pre-heat the oven to around 200 degrees.
Start by rinsing the potato to remove any mud or other debris. Next chop the potato in half using a sharp knife, I then chop it into quarters. slice the potato into strips, you can cut them into wedge shapes or chips like I’ve done.
Spray a baking tray with a few pumps of oil, and pop the fries into the tray. Shake your chosen seasoning onto the potatoes and give them a good mix up. Pop them into the oven for around 30 minutes, turning once or twice and then they should be ready.
As I say, this is a really quick and easy way to make healthy chips and both of my children love them too which is a bonus.
