I have a few things I’m loving right now, it’s not a favourites post as such just some things I have purchased over the last month and also some products I’ve been using.
I realise I’m so late to watch this but, Mr K and I binge watched the entire 3 series of Broadchurch on the FireStick in a week. Oh. Em. Gee!! I bloody loved it. It made me laugh out loud, want to cry and also made my mind tick with “who dunnit”. I’m now really sad it is over as I have nothing to watch, if anyone can suggest a good series please let me know.
I recently treated myself to a few new t-shirts from Joules as I have no Spring tops to wear. I’m sorted for Summer/Autumn/Winter clothes but find it really difficult to shop for Spring clothes, I hate being cold so keep my ankle boots and gilet on for as long as possible.
I really like stripes and thought these tops looked perfect to pair with skinny jeans, shorts and a cute denim skirt. I am trying to steer away from blacks, browns, greys and navy as most of my wardrobe is full of jumpers and long sleeved tops in those colours. I love the quality of clothing from Joules, they also fit really well.
I bought these flip flops from Peacocks of all places for a bargain £6. I thought they would be perfect for my holiday next month, I’m not really a beach flip flop kinda gal I much prefer a dressy flip flop, although I do have a pair of spotty navy beach (rubbery) flip flops from Joules that are nice. I love the colour of these and I think with a tan they will go really well with some striped maxi dresses I have.
Eyes & Face
I have always dyed my own lashes and eyebrows, every time I have visited a beauty salon to have anything done I come away disappointed and frustrated that they haven’t done what I asked for or the results have been crap. Maybe I’m just unlucky or a bit of a perfectionist (*cough* control freak *cough*) but I never get the results I want.
I have used the Eylure Dye Kit for years and totally recommend it, it is super easy to use and lasts for ages. I buy the black kit but don’t leave the dye on long when I tint my brows as I don’t naturally have black eyebrows, they come out a dark brown colour and fill in the blanks which is great.
As you will already know I LOVE fake tan and cannot – will not – live without it. I bought the Fake Bake The Face tan about a month ago maybe more, I like the results it gives but I think it will be better for using in the summer when I already have a natural base tan. It doesn’t have a musty smell and is easy to apply at night and I usually wash it off in the shower the next day.
I was lucky enough to receive some very exciting blogger post, I was over the moon to be able to try out products from Sexy Hair .
I am an avid fan of coconut oil and would be lost without it so I was very pleased to see it as one of the main ingredients within this hair care range. I’ve used all 3 products and am so impressed with the results, my hair is a complete pain in the rear to manage, however, with using the Smooth Extender Coconut Oil Masque it tamed my scarecrow hair after the first use. I was worried my hair would be left greasy and weighed down by the products but to my surprise it wasn’t.
I used the Smooth Encounter with Coconut Oil before drying my hair and I finished with the amazing Frizz Eliminator. I love the smell of these products and have had lots of compliments from people saying how healthy my hair looks. So it is a big thumbs up from me as I usually get sucked in by packaging and promises that don’t deliver.
Hector & George
I am still totally in love with my Hector & George personalised necklace, I wear it every day. The company is run by a mum of 3 who lives in Yorkshire, I am a follower on Instagram and just love the other designs available, there’s always something new added to the collection. I will certainly be purchasing another necklace or bracelet in the near future. I think it is really important to support small businesses, you can find some really unique pieces.
I hope you liked this post, maybe it has given you some inspiration or just made you want to shop, haha!
