Well hello!! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted anything on my blog and that makes me so sad, but you know how it has been! Most days I’m just surviving, like so many of us juggling home learning, being a mum, staying on top of the house/chores and running a little few side projects.
Anyway, I really wanted to publish a light hearted post, so thought I would share some outfits. I realise we are mid way through a national lockdown but it is still nice to get dressed and put your face on.
Here are some of my most worn outfits of Winter, I am of course, willing that Spring sunshine to get a wriggle on though!
I have literally been living in a dungaree/pinafore dress, they are so comfortable and really easy to look dressed up when you can’t be bothered. I love the Topshop ones the best as the material is soft and washes well. I have also been loving Bodysuits especially under a pinafore dress.
I love love love a chunky knit cardigan or snuggly jumper, for those days where you just want to be cosy and warm. Most of my cardigans are from Asda, they have such a fantastic selection and are really affordable. I like Next and New Look for my snuggly jumpers, you can’t beat an oversized slouchy knit.
I’ve always worn comfy pyjama bottoms in the house, putting on jeans or whatever to go out. I like to feel snuggly and cosy when pottering about at home. I’ll be honest and admit that I’m not one for messy hair or a no make up day, I just do not feel right or like myself. I am so annoying I know but, I get up and dressed for the day I’m definitely a morning person. Anyway, you will find me this lockdown in either jammy bottoms, gym leggings or a denim skirt.
Just before the national lockdown Mr K and I enjoyed an extremely rare night away so of course I got a little dressed up. I have been loving this New Look skirt and body combo, I wore it on my birthday last week. I cannot wait to get dressed up again, my poor pretty clothes are looking rather sad hung up in the wardrobe.
I also coloured my hair over this Winter just for a change, I can confirm I hate it – ha ha ha!! Looking forward to fluttery lashes, blonde hair and that summer tan – bring on Spring!
