Just a little insight into what I eat in a day, I don’t eat like this every day. I’m under the weather at the moment with a silly head cold so I’m not particularly hungry and when I am, I quite like picky food.
This granola is by far the best I’ve tasted, it is organic and has yummy yogurt chunks in it with strawberries and blueberries. It tastes amazing with natural yogurt mixed into it. Charlie had the same for breakfast today, he is also a fan of this combo.
Today I had an early lunch at 11am as I was going to meet a friend for a play date and you aren’t allowed to take your own food with you. I opted for this diet protein shake made with 250ml almond milk to tide me over until I got home. I didn’t actually return home until 2.30pm so I had a quick snack of ryvita, sweet chilli houmous and a few sundried tomatoes which were delicious.
When I was preparing the children’s tea I had a mini Cathedral City cheese block as I was feeling peckish.
For tea (that’s what we call Dinner in our house) we had an easy meal of wholegrain and quinoa rice, red Thai fishcake and salad with a balsamic glaze. I also added tons of chilli flakes as I love to add a bit of spice to my meal. I was starving by tea time, this was my last meal of the day (around 5.30pm) I do get hungry come the evening but try not to eat anything else.
I had 4 glasses of mineral water and 2 coffees during the day.
