What a beautiful weekend we are having! I’m so happy the sun has made a return it makes life so much brighter doesn’t it.
I absolutely love blogging and recording events in my life but I do get overwhelmed by stats, followers, tweets, Instagram posts, Facebook statuses etc. I find myself getting swallowed up by social media and sometimes feel very suffocated and often inadequate, if you blog or vlog you will certainly understand what I mean.
Mr K has a week off work and it is the last week of the summer holidays next week, I’m gutted the children have to return to school as, even though they’ve bickered non stop I’ve loved having them both home. I feel I need to take a step back into real life and just enjoy the moment with the children, not have to think about taking pictures or scheduling a blog post, I have lots to write about but I just need a break from it all. I want to make the most of these beautiful kiddies as they are growing so fast and I want to take them in whilst I can, I’m sure they get fed up of me saying “oh quick let mummy take a picture, say cheese”.
We have a few things planned during the week, a trip to Morwellham Quay, a visit to Babbacombe Model Village to see the evening illuminations, a day trip to Bristol and of course school uniform shopping. Weirdly this year I’m not in panic mode about getting school uniform as I know what to expect.
So, I can hopefully resist the temptation of blogging, tweeting and going on insta stories (hmmmmm…. we will see) but for now I’m going to make the most of my gorgeous family.
Wishing you all a wonderful last week of the holidays, enjoy the sunshine!
