Kids Halloween Basket

I realise this is a bit Halloween overkill but we love it in our house and I never had a Halloween basket when I was little. Everywhere you look now there are suggestions for what to put in a Halloween basket and my feed on Instagram is full of them. I always put together a basket for the children to enjoy over the October half term, they love rummaging through the goodies and getting excited for all the bits and bobs I’ve selected for them.

This is what is in this years basket, I’ve reduced the amount this time as we are off on our holibobs soon and I wanted to give them an activity bag each for the trip so didn’t want to overwhelm them.

  • Activity books
  • Halloween beakers
  • Glow sticks
  • Paper Halloween plates and napkins – my kiddies love a paper plate
  • Chocolates/sweets/hot choc
  • Ghost story book
  • Plastic eyeballs
  • Face paints
  • Ghost confetti
  • Glitter spiders
  • Purple cobwebs

I have also bought a few pumpkins for us to carve at the weekend. The children have chosen their Halloween costumes and masks so we are all set to go trick or treating (or Halloweening as we used to say).
