One of the nicest things about blogging is getting to put ideas down on virtual paper. I really enjoy finding special gifts for people so putting together a gift guide for Mother’s Day fills me with joy. I get to share products with you that you might not have considered as a present, something a bit different and not your typical Mother’s Day gift. The items below can be given for any occasion which makes them versatile and thoughtful. Here is my offering for this year’s special day whoever you are buying for.
HECTOR & GEORGE PERSONALISED JEWELLERY
I was given a personalised necklace last year from my children by Hector & George and I cherish it. Personalised jewellery means more to me than anything, I can keep it forever and pass it down to my children. Hector & George have a gorgeous range of personalised necklaces, bracelets and earrings, the company is run by a busy mum of 3 from Yorkshire. All items are bespoke and requests can be made, the service is second to none, you can really see that great care and attention has been taken when making the jewellery. I think any of the pieces from Hector & George would make a perfect Mother’s Day present.
We maybe nearing spring but we all know the weather is completely unpredictable and this week has certainly proved that. I love the headwear from Buff and think this is such a good idea for a present. Buff, the leading sports head and neckwear brand have an extensive range of both adults, children and dogs hats and neckwear suitable for any outdoor activity. The quality of the hat is excellent, it is fleeced lined and super cosy with a cute bobble on the top. They have lots of colours and designs to suit any taste, perfect for keeping warm and toasty during the cooler months. I have worn my Buff hat all through the snow blizzards and freezing temperatures it has kept me so warm and protected my ears from the biting winds, I love it.
The Ecoffee Cup is a genius idea for busy mums on the go who love a cuppa. Whether you love a good old cup of tea or a fancy coffee the Ecoffee Cup is a new generation of takeaway cup that will last you years. It is made from a sustainable bamboo fibre, is BPA and phthalate free and is extremely lightweight yet strong enough to hold hot liquids. The lid is re-sealable and non drip which is great if you are on the go, taking a stroll with the children or sat in your car whilst your child naps (we’ve all been there). The cup comes in a variety of colours and patterns that are bright and vibrant and very trendy, this would be an ideal gift for Mother’s Day.
BELLE & BOO
I adore Belle & Boo products and they’ve really outdone themselves for Mother’s Day. The range is just gorgeous and appeals to everyone, it captures what being a little girl is all about and grows with us as we become mums. The gifts on offer this year are stunning and would suit the crafty mum amongst us. The Creative Craft Book is a wonderful book of inspirational ideas to bring to life the world of Belle & Boo, there are 25 unique sewing projects and papercraft ideas for you to let your imagination get away with you, perfect for a bit of ‘mum, me-time’. You don’t have to be a pro sewer to make these projects in the book there are lots of step by steps and beautiful illustrations to follow. There are lots of art prints for the interior loving mum and the most gorgeous fabric for those at home hand-made projects you have your eye on.
TIN OF GIN
I recently reviewed Tin of Gin and thought it would be a great addition to the gift guide as they currently have a Mother’s Day Gift Bundle on offer. The gin is of the highest quality and comes in a professionally packaged tin, great attention to detail is obvious. Tin of Gin would make a fun present, not just for mums but you may also have a sister, aunty or grandparent that helps out and you want to show your appreciation to.
Possibly my most favourite Mother’s Day gift idea – only because I am obsessed with candles, reed diffusers and anything smelly! Beefayre are an exquisite company who produce the most beautiful collection of divine candles, reed diffusers and bath/body products. They have a stunning range to suit any mum including a Mummy Bee range that has been designed with new mums and mums-to-be in mind. The Mother’s Day Gift Boxes would make a wonderful present, there are lots to choose from. All products are made here in the UK and contain natural ingredients, Beefayre donates 3% of profits to bee conservation.

LEIGHTON DENNY EXPERT NAILS, CRYSTAL NAIL FILE
Anyone who knows me, knows I’m obsessed with having nice nails. I love pampering, putting polish on and of course a bit of nail art but I always struggle to find a decent nail file. Alas I present the most glamorous nail file, the Leighton Denny Crystal Nail File. This file has won 15 beauty awards, is hardened to provide 25 years of filing, is manufactured with the finest crystal leaving your nails smooth and sealed. What a great gift for the beauty loving mum to pop in her handbag, I love it.
I hope I have given you some inspiration for the perfect gift this Mother’s Day.
