    Half Term Fun In The Rain – Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, Devon

    Half term means one thing – rain! Isn’t it typical that it always rains during the school holidays? I wasn’t going to let it defeat me today, usually we stay in and get the crafts out but I really fancied getting out and about this morning. I rallied the children up, we popped our wellies and waterproofs on and headed to Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, we haven’t been to Bicton since Easter so it was a well overdue visit.     Raw, Honest Motherhood

    I’m sat on the bed with my poorly little boy who is full of a cold and chesty cough (still), the rain is pouring down and my clothes are soaked through. Monday again, how quick do the weekends go? I prefer the run up to Christmas (October, November, December) much more than the actual day, so I love cosy weekends spent as a family or with friends. There aren’t many weekends left to savour the magic before it all comes to an end for another year.     Weekend Adventures

    It has been a long old week full of illness running into the weekend, Sunday is here and I’m struggling the most. But, we had to get out of the house as we were climbing the walls. Saturday We had every intention of going to Exmouth carnival but we were all feeling under the weather still. The children were bored so we decided to take a trip to Bicton Park for the last hour and a half of the day and really enjoyed it.
