What I Ate Today – Coeliac Gluten Free

    November 22, 2019 /

What I Ate Today BREAKFAST No matter how hard I try I cannot steer myself away from a good hearty bowl of porridge. I love Asda Free From Porridge Oats (40g) in a bowl with a dark chocolate Biomel and a dollop of peanut butter. This genuinely fills me up for a good 4 hours. MID MORNING SNACK Another favourite as you will know, a salted caramel Nakd Bar. Absolutely delicious and a perfect snack to keep me going. LUNCH Two things I can no longer stomach at the moment but on this particular day I made eggs, turkey bacon, cheese and cherry tomatoes. Eggs really upset my tummy if…

    Lactose & Dairy Free Foods

    April 1, 2019 /

Being lactose intolerant has been a bit of a blow for me to be honest. I’ve always had a sensitive tummy and there was talk of IBS years ago, things got better and my diet changed dramatically. However, over the past 4 months I’ve been suffering with very bad bouts of tummy aches, sickness, bloating and upset. I’m still very much on my journey with finding foods that do not contain lactose, I have managed to seek out some favourites and thought I would share them with you. CANDY KITTENS (Vegan) I found these little treats in Waitrose. I do have a sweet tooth and sometimes just fancy a jelly…

What I Ate Today – Lactose / Dairy Free

    March 13, 2019 /

I’ve not published a What I ate in a Day post for ages. Things have changed a little with my diet which I’ll go into more depth in another post. But, I found out I’m lactose intolerant recently so have been cutting out diary as it makes me feel super poorly. This has been a challenge in which I’m still struggling with but I’ll get there. BREAKFAST So being dairy free means no yoghurt. I used to have Fage Greek Yoghurt but it was giving me the worst tummy ache. Finding a new and tasty lactose free yoghurt has been hard but I’m trying out the Asda one, it’s okay…
