What I’ve Been Wearing This Winter/Lockdown
Well hello!! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted anything on my blog and that makes me so sad, but you know how it has been! Most days I’m just surviving, like so many of us juggling home learning, being a mum, staying on top of the house/chores and running a little few side projects. Anyway, I really wanted to publish a light hearted post, so thought I would share some outfits. I realise we are mid way through a national lockdown but it is still nice to get dressed and put your face on. Here are some of my most worn outfits of Winter, I am of course,…

What I’ve Been Wearing: Lockdown Edition
I love these What I’ve Been Wearing posts but haven’t actually published one in months. Just a little side note, this post was written in June during the lockdown days. All of the outfits can be adapted for any season just by adding tights and a chunky knit. OUTFITS The trusty old Primark pinafore and vest top that was on repeat last summer, a favourite outfit of mine and super cute with flip flops and a straw bag. I wear this pinafore during the Autumn/Winter months with either a striped long sleeve top or roll neck, boots and tights – perfect for those cold crisp days and fab for layering.…

What Mama Wore – Autumn Edition
With only a couple of weeks left until proper Winter hits us I have been trying to go through my Autumn wardrobe and wear outfits I’ve had for a good few years. This coupled with some new bits and bobs, I thought I would share what I have been wearing lately. OUTFITS This jumper is from Primark and I have had it for around 4 or 5 years. I go through phases of loving it and putting it to the back of the pile – this Autumn I am loving it. I have wanted a teddy coat since they all came into fashion last year, but I couldn’t find anything…

#60forspring Challenge with Samuel Windsor
Spring has arrived and so has the rain, which we will choose to ignore for the moment. Luckily we are escaping from the British weather for a week (I’m keeping everything crossed for a bit of sunshine) to a Spanish beach. Now is the time where we go through our existing “holiday” wardrobe, dig out what still fits and banish any items we’ve had for years. Or so you would think. Mr K keeps hold of his clothes for years, he is comfortable in them and knows what feels right. We were contacted by leading Menswear brand Samuel Windsor to take part in an exciting #60forspring challenge. This really got…

Spring Fashion for Men with JACAMO
The title says Spring fashion for men but if your other half is anything like mine, he will wear the same clothes all year round. However, I do think it is nice to treat yourself to some new staple items that will wear well through each season. When it comes to men’s fashion Mr K likes to keep it simple and he likes to feel good in his clothes. Shopping is tricky at times, we have two young children who hate being dragged around the shops. Time really is not on our side, Mr K works all week and the last thing he wants to do at the weekend is…

Winter Black Friday Fashion with JD Williams
Autumn is well under way we are nearing Winter and the festive season. Clothes get a little touch of sparkle, heels get higher and the knitwear gets thicker as we head into December. My favourite outfit combo for the cooler months is without a doubt a gorgeous jumper and boots. I like outfits that I can style with items I already own, things that I can transition into Spring/Summer and also pieces that are going to last year after year. I love shopping but with life being so crazy, limited time to get to a shop and also having two young children to drag around a shopping centre the thought…

What Mama Wore This Week
This past week we have had some horrendous weather in Somerset, from torrential rain to thunder and lightning. It’s been mild then freezing, I just can’t keep up with it. I’ve mostly been wearing my Joules raincoat and Chelsea boots as a staple, I thought it would share what else mama wore this week. Jumper: Primark / Necklace: Tiffany & Co. I’ve had this Primark jumper for years it has bobbled and is a tad out of shape but I love it and can’t throw it out. I paired it with my favourite River Island Molly jeans (black) and Chelsea boots. Sweater: Dorothy Perkins / Jeans: River Island I love a…

Autumn School Run Outfits of the Week
I used to plan my outfits out before bed so I could be organised the following morning. It is still pretty warm in the South West I have struggled to know what to wear, the day starts off freezing but by lunchtime it has hotted up and I’m sweating. Here are some of the outfits I’ve been wearing over the last couple of weeks, I like to be comfy but still smart (ish) for the school run. And yes, I am one of those mum’s everyone likes to hate on – I put my make up on first thing and do my hair so I am set for the day.…

A Week In My Wardrobe
A week in my wardrobe is not very exciting I must admit. I am trying to step out of my comfort zone and I certainly have a few surprises in my Autumn wardrobe which I am excited to wear once the weather turns a little cooler. It is a little difficult dressing for this time of year, the days start out freezing, by afternoon I’m boiling and then I’m wrapped up in a cosy cardigan by evening. Anyway, these are a few outfits I’ve been wearing this week. Top: Joules / Jeans: River Island / Sandals: Salt Water Top: Boden / Jeans: River Island / Sandals: Salt Water Jumper: Next…

Summer Fashion with River Island
My style and fashion has changed dramatically over the last 6 years, well, since becoming a parent really. I’ve never been a throw on a pair of joggers and a top kind of gal, I like to get up put my face on, do my hair and pick out a nice (comfortable) outfit. I’ve always been into fashion and enjoy pinning outfit ideas as well as scrolling Instagram for inspiration. If I’m being honest I do find dressing for the summer months quite a challenge, I want a pretty outfit without falling into the too frumpy or mumsy trap. I wouldn’t ever wear short shorts with my bum cheeks hanging out…
