Gin O’Clock: Gins I’m Loving
I remember the first time I tried gin – it did not end well. I didn’t touch it again for around 10 years, a little older and a little wiser I have finally found my tipple. It is no lie, I love an ice cold glass of gin on a hot summers day, or even when cooking the dinner after a stressful day being mum. Over the years I’ve tried a fair few gins and have become quite fond of certain brands, I know what I like and what agrees with me (within reason of course). I don’t know what it is though, gin always tastes so much better when…

Mum Pressure – I Want To Be Me!
Mum pressure, that is most certainly a thing. I feel I need to get this off my chest as it is consuming me slightly. So, social media gets a bad wrap and I don’t think it is any social media platform that this spirals from, it is Instagram and to be honest most insecurities stem from this app. Daily I hear of people unplugging and taking breaks from social media but in reality it is just Instagram that is causing the issues. CLOSED **WIN** A Bottle of Peaky Blinder Spiced Gin Courtesy of 31Dover.com
Second Gin post of the week, I swear I drink water too! How amazing does the Peaky Blinder Spiced Gin look? The gin is surprisingly refreshing poured over crushed ice, topped with tonic water (I used Fever Tree, Naturally Light) with a squeeze of zesty lime – perfect! It is bold in flavour with hints of…

Tin of Gin – Review
I’m going to start by being completely honest with you, I have tried gin about twice in my life. Once when I was in the pub drinking (that did not end well), the other time was at Christmas, I had a mini bottle and drank it neat – yuk! I was starting to think I wasn’t cut out for this uber cool drink. Over the past few years gin has become increasingly popular and trendy, I see endless photos on Instagram of big posh glasses topped with ice and a slice and I kind of want to get in on that – photo coming soon, I’m sure! Last weekend was…
