    What I Ate Today – Lactose / Dairy Free

    I’ve not published a What I ate in a Day post for ages. Things have changed a little with my diet which I’ll go into more depth in another post. But, I found out I’m lactose intolerant recently so have been cutting out diary as it makes me feel super poorly. This has been a challenge in which I’m still struggling with but I’ll get there.     What I ate today. I popped into M&S at the weekend and picked up a couple of my favourite foods. I’ve included at the end of this post my meals for the week if you fancy a nosy.     I’m sharing what I eat in a day, I realise this does not look like a lot of food but some days I’m just not hungry. I am quite strict during the week and then eat (within reason) what I want at the weekend, it is what works for me.     Meal Plan & Work Outs

    For my meal plan this week I want to mix it up a bit and try to have a week of reduced carbs, especially when it comes to dinner time. I’m continuing to calorie count using My Fitness Pal which is working really well and I’ve lost another 3lbs whilst still having treat days/weekends. I get a lot of meal inspiration from Instagram and Pintrest, although I’m not a fan of sea food apart from the odd prawn and tin of tuna, that’s about as adventurous as I get.     Since being ill a few weeks ago and totally losing my appetite for what felt like forever, I’m slowly starting to eat proper meals again. Here is what I on Tuesday.     Life has been a little crappy for the last 4 weeks for many personal reasons and I’ve also been under the weather.     Being on an all inclusive holiday my eating habits were so messed up, I had a cooked breakfast (sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs & toast) every morning, no snacks, lunch was a weird combination of cooked foods and salad along with a sweet treat and dinner was a mish mash followed by another sweet temptation.
