    Holiday Blues

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a super New Year’s Eve. It is the eve before the children return to school and Mr K returns to work, I’ve got to say I am so sad that the Christmas holidays are over – I have the holiday blues. Big School

We have just returned from our second parents evening at Amelie’s school. The first one we had was literally a few weeks into her first year in Reception and wasn’t really that useful. Today will be spent cosying up with the children, watching a Christmas film, eating lots, meal planning, homework and probably breaking up a scrap or two! I hope you have all had a fab weekend so…

Amelie started in Reception in September, she was super excited and nervous all the same. I had done my sobbing into my tea towel whilst making dinner for 4 days straight, I was ready for her big journey. Dropping her off on her first day went well, we took the standard uniform pictures in every single possible location in the house, she had her new Lelli Kellys and her book bag ready to go. I won’t…
