Mum/Mom Spring School Run Outfits
Hey guys, I hope you had a great weekend. The Spring sunshine finally returned last week after the howling winds and torrential rain. I find Spring really tricky to dress for, I want to be all vibrant and pop a pretty blouse on but then I’m freezing my bits off as it is still so chilly. Anyway, I thought I would share what I’ve been wearing just lately. There is nothing exciting or remotely fancy in any of my outfits as I like comfort. I really wish I was one of these Instagram fashion mums who wear maxi dresses with heels but it just does not fit within my lifestyle.…

Summer 2018 Favourites
We have reached the end of the summer holidays, the weather has cooled slightly but the sun is still shinning. September is usually a beautiful month and I’m hoping to get the most out of it. I thought I would share a few of my favourite items that I have been loving this summer. One & Eight Jewellery I was very kindly sent a stunning necklace from One & Eight, who are a local company based in South Devon. They create gorgeous handmade porcelain earrings, bracelets and necklaces which are glazed and fired before adding elegant colour. Each piece is made from sterling silver or gold vermeil, and packaged in…

Finding The Perfect Shoe with XYLONDON
Finding the perfect shoe can be a challenge. As I’ve gotten older I have realised I need staples in my wardrobe, I don’t go “out out” anymore but I might have the odd date night, dinner out with the girls or a wedding/celebration to attend and I need a smart shoe. I’m a big fan of nude coloured shoes especially heels I think they are classic and go with any outfit. But, finding the perfect shoe for said occasion is really tricky. I have small feet, I’m a UK size 3 and have quite wide feet – not hobbit feet or anything – so struggle with stiletto heels as they pinch…

milk&more – My Experience
Who remembers milk being delivered by the Milkman? We never bought milk from a shop when I was younger it was always delivered to our doorstep whilst we slept. I remember the frozen top of the milk bottle (that was the best part) and being told off for using too much on my cereal. Nowadays we buy milk and other essentials at the supermarket and gone are the days of Milkmen – or so I thought. When milk&more got in touch to see if I would like a month’s worth of fresh milk delivered by the Milkman I quickly replied yes! I had not heard of milk&more before so was intrigued…

Grocery Shopping Budget – Aldi
Grocery shopping is the one thing that I struggle with balancing. Up until recently our food shopping bill was creeping up to near £200 a week – shocking! We were wasting food, making daily trips to Tesco and spending far too much. The thing about Tesco is, I went in for a few essentials and came out £50 lighter every time as I was picking up things that were not necessary and were on offer. I got sucked into ‘oh that’s a good deal, I’ll pick it up’ and before I knew it I had a trolley full of crap. Even though I plan our meals I don’t plan for…

Mum’s Autumn Wishlist
There’s a crisp feel to the air, the nights are getting darker, the leaves are on the turn… Autumn is on the way. If you know me, you know that Autumn is my favourite time of year, I love getting cosy and layering up. There’s nothing I like better than going through my wardrobe pulling out all my summer clothes and swapping them for chunky knits, long sleeved blouses, scarves, boots, blazers and a smart coat. I’ve always loved clothes, shoes and handbags. Since becoming a mum my attention has turned towards the children’s wardrobes, I love getting their outfits ready for the next day laying it out and styling…

Things I’m Loving
I have a few things I’m loving right now, it’s not a favourites post as such just some things I have purchased over the last month and also some products I’ve been using. Broachurch I realise I’m so late to watch this but, Mr K and I binge watched the entire 3 series of Broadchurch on the FireStick in a week. Oh. Em. Gee!! I bloody loved it. It made me laugh out loud, want to cry and also made my mind tick with “who dunnit”. I’m now really sad it is over as I have nothing to watch, if anyone can suggest a good series please let me know.…
