Gin for the win, they say! What better way to find out what your tipple is than to attend a festival especially for gin lovers. I’ve only ever been to a chilli festival in my time so I was excited to have been invited to The Gin Festival 2018 held in Torquay, Devon. This is the second gin festival that has been held in The Assembly Hall in Torquay, organisers were expecting a whopping 1,500 gin fans across 3 separate sessions. Weekend Adventures – Torquay, Coffee & New Shoes
So it was the first weekend of February, we made it through the January blues. Both of my two are so ready for half term which is at the end of the week, I’m certainly ready for slow paced mornings and no school runs – yippee! Saturday We were up super early on Saturday which is not ideal but we had a very important event that morning. Days Out In Devon – Torre Abbey
What a soggy, miserable Sunday it has been in Devon today. We were not put off by the torrential rain, freezing temperature or black sky. Instead we set about exploring and adventuring as we had two very restless children who needed to get out and do something fun. We were very kindly invited to Torre Abbey Family Sunday, Story Stomps with Stiltskin, this entailed arts, crafts and stories inspired by the Abbey’s grounds – it really was a day the whole family could enjoy.
